• BI-ANNUAL CARBON BLOCK REPLACEMENT KIT: Say goodbye to unpleasant tastes and odors with the Watts Premier Bi-Annual Carbon Block Premium Filter Kit, a six-month supply of 3 types of filters that are tailored for specific filtration purposes, collectively ensuring crystal clear, great-tasting drinking water every time. These filters are designed for specific use with Watts Premier RO-TFM-5SV (500016, 500032), WP-5 (500023), and WP5-50 (500057) Reverse Osmosis Systems.
• HIGHLY EFFECTIVE FILTRATION: This kit includes one 5-Micron Sediment Filter (WP104017) for reducing dirt, silt, and rust that affects the taste and appearance of your water; two 5-Micron Activated Carbon Pre-Filters (WP101009) for conditioning the water and reducing chlorine tastes and odors; one standard filter wrench to assist with opening of the filter housings.
• FINAL FILTER: Also includes one 10" GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) Inline Post-Filter (WP560010), a final filter that is most effective at removing chemicals that give objectionable odors or tastes to water, such as hydrogen sulfide (rotten eggs odor) or chlorine; they are not effective at removing minerals, salts, and dissolved inorganic compounds. The filter includes 1/4" FNTP connections, though a compression tee is not included.
• QUALITY CONSTRUCTION: These durable filters are crafted from high-quality materials for maximum filtration. Filter life may vary based upon local water conditions or use patterns, but we recommend replacing sediment and carbon pre-filters every 6 months and the GAC post-filter once a year.
