Lingyunxi Jasmine Green Tea Loose Leaf Chinese Jasmine Tea with Delightful Aroma Multiple Scenting 茉莉花茶 绿茶 4.23oz/120g

Specifications

  • Origin and growth environment: Our jasmine tea is produced in the core production area of Heng County, Guangxi. It has a subtropical monsoon climate with an average annual temperature of 20-22℃, abundant precipitation and sufficient sunlight, providing suitable conditions for the growth of jasmine flowers. Green tea belongs to Fujian tea leaves, laying the foundation for the integration of the tea base and the flower.
  • The traditional scenting process: The core of making jasmine tea lies in "scenting flowers", which involves multiple procedures such as tea base treatment, flower care, flower blending and scenting, flower ventilation and heat dissipation, and flower separation. The flowers are mixed in proportion to allow the tea leaves to fully absorb the floral fragrance. After each scenting process, the flower residues need to be screened and separated to prevent the tea soup from having a bitter taste. Through repeated scenting, the tea aroma and flower aroma are deeply integrated, forming a unique flavor of "flowers guiding the tea aroma and tea carrying the flower charm".
  • Characteristics of dry tea and tea soup: The dry tea leaves are tightly rolled and uniform, with a dark green and lustrous color. The tea soup after brewing is clear and bright light yellowish green, and the surface of the tea soup is covered with fine down. The aroma is rich and layered. At first sniff, it has a fresh and high jasmine fragrance. On closer inspection, one can sense the inherent chestnut aroma of the tea. The floral scent does not overpower the tea flavor, and the tea flavor sets off the floral scent. The taste is fresh, refreshing and sweet when entering the mouth.
  • Brewing method and skills: It is recommended to use hot water at 85-95℃ when brewing jasmine tea. Avoid using boiling water at 100℃ to prevent the destruction of the aroma substances and nutrients in the tea leaves.
  • For tea sets, it is recommended to choose glass cups or white porcelain covered bowls. Glass cups are convenient for observing the unfolding of tea leaves and the color changes of the tea soup, while white porcelain covered bowls can better gather the aroma. The amount of tea used should be controlled at a ratio of 1:50, that is, 5 grams of tea leaves to 250 milliliters of water. The first infusion should be steeped for about 30 seconds, and each subsequent infusion can be extended by 10 to 15 seconds. Generally, it can be steeped 4 to 6 times and still maintain a rich floral aroma.
